Busy Busy Busy~!

Hectic pace since mid-Nov. Apart from moving (which in itself is a massive project), we have to cope with 2 energetic teens and a glutton grandma. Throw in final weeks of studies (which means deadlines!), bowling and taking care of the pups and we really have not even an ounce of energy by the end of the day.

And so, to make our lives a little easier, we got ourselves a car. A nice little cabriolet which can sit up to 5 (albeit a little squeezy behind) and will bring us places nicely. Buying a car in HK has been on our minds for years but we have never gotten round to getting one until we moved to this new place. It's definitely a positive move. I think that we are comfortable enough working here in HK to get a car since we have different reasons to believe that we will be stuck here for at least the next 18-24 months.

I can't say enough good things about the new place. For once we can finally rent the badminton court (always full as there were only 1 in the old estate while 3 here) and the tennis court (0 vs 2). Of course we made use of the facilities avail to us over the past 2 days. Not played tennis since 1990 something... Badminton last night was tiring... especially when playing 1-against-3...

The pups really like the new place. At last we have a living space for them to run about without knocking into doors, sofas, cupboards, walls etc etc~ They will race from the living room to the bedroom and back, take a peek inside the kitchen hoping for a snack whenever someone's in there and race back to the living room when they realise they're not going to get anything. Real unfortunate that pets are not allowed... we can't walk them out of the estate on a leash, but must smuggle them out in bags. Good thing they are quiet and obedient in packages...

Got ourselves a X'mas tree but the 1/3 of the lights are out in less than 1 week! Arghh!!! Oh well... give me more reasons to stop around one of those shopping centres, spend over $200 and get an hour off parking fees...
